Though it wasn’t a tropical paradise, I did escape to the big city last week and that gave me a burst of renewed focus as I wandered the big bookstore for hours…ahhh! Sometimes you don’t need to go too far from home for that change of scenery and hopefully, this long weekend we can get to the beach.
Please realize, when I say ‘beach’ it’s just a lot of sand and a great lake that is still cold this time of year and there’s no amenities close by, so it’s a whole ordeal of bringing everything we own with us but still a beach that’s beautiful and still totally worth it.
